FAQs

How do I care for my new piece?

Great news! Most tableware made here at Good Stuff Pots is dishwasher and microwave safe, so feel free to reheat that coffee you forgot about. If your piece has gold decoration, I recommend hand washing and definitely don’t microwave it.

GSP pieces are not oven safe.

If I order two mugs, will they be identical?

Nope! Definitely not. Mugs, bowls, plates, vases, planters, and everything else I make is all created by hand in small batches. Handmade items come with natural variations in the final product, including size deviations up to 0.25”, but typically less. There may also be variations in glaze consistency and application from one piece to the next.

I don’t live in the delivery area. How do I get my hands on your pottery?

Currently, shipping prices are a little bit wild. I am actively working to find reasonably priced shipping options, and hopefully I can remove this section from the FAQ soon. For the time being, I will be offering home deliveries in the following cities: Hamilton, Burlington, Waterdown, Oakville, and Stoney Creek. If you live outside of this area and simply cannot wait any longer, please feel free to contact me before placing an order and I can provide you with a shipping estimate.

Do you take custom orders?

Not really, but I’m open to the idea! The important thing to keep in mind is that the pottery process can be a long one, so custom orders would take roughly 6-8 weeks to prepare. I would love to hear your ideas though, so if there is something you would like to see, get in touch!

Feel free to contact me about anything else you want to know.
